These green and white striped paper straws have a bore of 8mm and are 230mm long. Our green striped paper straws are our most popular and are available in various sizes. Paper straws are a popular alternative to traditional plastic straws, however beware the cheaper straws on the market. These straws use very little paper and are waxed with paraffin wax in order to delay the breakdown of the straw in drinks. This counteracts any eco benefits and means these straws are only fit for landfill at end of use. Our straws are much more premium using more paper and are completely compostable. All of our compostable products comply with EN13432 which is the European standard for compostability.
