A Cold Room (commonly called a Walk In) is amongst the most efficient methods to hold vast quantities of chilled or frozen ingredients. If you have the space, a cold room is often more cost effective than multiple separate Upright Fridges or Upright Freezers.
When fitted with appropriate Commercial Racking, a walk in offers a huge potential for efficient stock rotation, ensuring that your staff can access as much, or as little food as might be required for the next service.
